Everything on this site can be practised, and your progress is saved in your browser (nothing leaves your device). Here is where the practice lives and a routine that fits a working day.
The ten-minute daily routine
- One verb. Open any verb page, read the present and past, do the drill. Two minutes.
- One noun. Open any noun page, cover the plural, say it, check. Two minutes.
- Flashcards. Open the vocabulary list you are working on and rate the cards that are due. Three minutes.
- One sentence out loud. Take today's word and say a sentence with it to nobody. Thirty seconds.
- Read something real. The notice board in your stairwell, the letter from Kela, one easy news headline. Two minutes.
Drills
- Verb drills: on every verb page, eight random forms to type.
- Noun drills: on every noun page, cases to type.
- Grammar quizzes: at the end of every grammar page.
Flashcards
Every vocabulary list and every verb page has a deck. Cards you rate "again" come back in ten minutes; "good" in a day, then three, then longer; "easy" pushes them further out. Come back tomorrow and only the due cards are shown.
Level test and mock tests
- The level test: twelve questions, a starting point.
- YKI mock tests: being built subtest by subtest in the YKI hub.
